Types of Resumes
Chronological
It is a listing of your most recent job experiences and the list continues by presenting your activities back in time. It should cover 5-10 years of professional experience.
Functional
It organizes skills and functional categories. Emphasis is on categories of abilities and tends to downplay work history. This works well for people with too many jobs to keep to two pages or perhaps very short stays at many companies.
Combination
The combination resume combines the best elements of the chronological and functional formats. It allows you to pick and choose where you put your emphasis.
