CINA 2006 Scholarship Program
Objective:
The goal of CINA's scholarship programs is to aid in building an awareness of the value of both academic achievement and community involvement of CINA member's children.
Eligibility:
To be considered a candidate, students should meet the following criteria:
- A full-time student
- A graduating high school senior
- One of student's parent must be a current CINA member for at least 6 months or a lifetime member when application was submitted
- Student must be attending a high school in Northan California, USA
Selecting Scholarship Recipients
CINA's selection committee, made up of three CINA board members, read all applications to determine those who are the best overall applicants to receive scholarships. The highest-rated students will be selected as scholarship recipients. All candidates whose applications are complete will be notified of their status in mid August 2006. Scholarship recipients and the parents will be invited to attend the Scholarship Award ceremony in CINA's Annual conference on 09/09/2006
Each Applicant will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- 50% of Academic achievement
- 40% on Community Service
- 10% on Special Circumstances
Scholarships will be awarded as follows:
CINA Scholarship Award Certificate
The amount of each individual award will depend upon the availability of funding and the number of scholarships awarded.
Selected Student mush submit a picture and a short sentence about what he or she likes or likes to do the most.
Application Deadline:
CINA starts collecting application forms from 06/15/2006 till 08/01/2006
Deadline for the application is 08/01/2006
